Find answers to the most common questions about buying, selling, and using Kiddlo.

Buying

How do I buy an item?

Find something you like, tap 'Buy now' or 'Make an offer', and follow the checkout steps. Your payment is held securely until you confirm you're happy with the item.

What is Buyer Protection?

Every purchase made through Kiddlo is covered by Buyer Protection. If the item doesn't match the description or doesn't arrive, you'll get a full refund. A small protection fee is added at checkout to cover this.

Can I make an offer below the asking price?

Yes! Tap 'Make an offer' on any listing to suggest a different price. The seller can accept, decline, or counter your offer through messages.

How do I know if an item is safe?

Check our Safety Tips page for guidance on specific product categories. We also encourage sellers to include clear photos and honest descriptions. If something doesn't look right, report the listing.

Selling

How do I list an item?

Tap the 'Sell' button, upload photos, add a title and description, set your price and category, then publish. Your listing will be live and visible to buyers in your area within seconds.

What can I sell on Kiddlo?

Any baby, toddler, or maternity item in fair condition or better. This includes prams, car seats, clothing, toys, nursery furniture, and more. We don't allow recalled items, counterfeit goods, or anything unsafe.

How do I edit or remove a listing?

Go to your profile, find the listing, and tap 'Edit' to update details or 'Remove' to take it down. Sold items are automatically marked as sold after a successful transaction.

Is there a fee for selling?

Listing items on Kiddlo is completely free. We only charge a small protection fee to buyers at checkout — sellers receive the full asking price.

Payments

How do payments work?

When a buyer pays, the money is held securely by Stripe (our payment partner). Once the buyer confirms they've received the item and it matches the description, the funds are released to the seller.

When do I get paid as a seller?

Funds are released 3 days after payment, or sooner if the buyer confirms receipt. The money is transferred directly to your connected bank account via Stripe.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay through our secure Stripe checkout.

Collection & delivery

Is delivery available?

Delivery arrangements are made directly between buyer and seller through messages. Many items are collected in person, but you can agree to post items if both parties are happy.

Who pays for postage?

This is agreed between buyer and seller. We recommend discussing delivery costs before completing the purchase. Some sellers include postage in the listing price.

Disputes & refunds

What if the item doesn't match the description?

If the item is significantly different from the listing, you can raise a dispute within 3 days of receipt. Our team will review the case and issue a refund if the claim is valid.

How do I raise a dispute?

Go to your purchase in Messages, tap the transaction details, and select 'Raise a dispute'. Provide photos and a description of the issue, and our team will respond within 24 hours.

How long do refunds take?

Once a refund is approved, it typically takes 3–5 working days to appear back on your card or payment method.

Account

How do I create an account?

Tap 'Sign up', enter your name, email, and a password. You can also sign up with Google for a quicker start. You'll need to verify your email before you can buy or sell.

How do I change my profile information?

Go to your profile and tap 'Edit profile' to update your display name, location, bio, and avatar.

How do I delete my account?

Contact us at hello@kiddlo.co.uk and we'll process your account deletion within 7 days. Any active listings will be removed and pending transactions completed first.
